Pay as you fly

Pay for the flight you just flew.

Core Aviator Training doesn’t offer or push financing. You pay per session as you train: nothing borrowed, nothing prepaid, and your budget stays in your control.

How it works

One way to pay, and it's the simple one.

There is no lender, no application and no package to sign. You pay for the session you just flew, and that is the whole arrangement.

Pay as you fly

The only payment model at CORE — you pay for the session you just flew, not a program you might finish.

  • Cherokee 140 at $175/hr wet — fuel and maintenance included
  • Instruction at $60/hr, in the air or on the ground

No packages, no lump sums

There is nothing to prepay and no block to buy, so startup costs stay low and nothing is locked up if life changes.

  • Minimal startup costs — begin with a $175 Discovery Flight
  • Pause or change pace without forfeiting prepaid hours

Rates shown are the school’s current published rates and can change; totals vary with lesson frequency, study habits, weather, and aptitude. Plan separately for your FAA medical, books, a headset, and FAA exam fees.

The cross-country

You don't carry all the fuel at once.

A long trip is flown in legs, with a stop at the end of each one. Paying for a rating works the same way.

Spend less overall

The cheapest dollar is the one you don't spend.

Nothing here is borrowed, so nothing hides the total. These four levers are the ones that actually move it.

  1. 1

    Frequency

How often you fly is the #1 cost driver. Consistent lessons shorten the path — long gaps mean re-learning and more hours.

  2. 2

    Preparation

Showing up ready — ground study done, procedures chair-flown — makes every paid hour count.

  3. 3

    Aptitude & goals

Every student learns at their own pace, and your destination (a certificate, a rating, a career) shapes the plan.

  4. 4

    Medical & materials

Plan for a medical certificate to begin, plus books, a headset, and FAA exam fees.

Fly consistently, study between lessons, and the total comes down on its own. That is the whole plan.

Questions

Paying, answered

Something else about paying? Call 239-722-6751.

Can I finance my flight training here?

No, and that is deliberate. Core Aviator Training does not offer or broker financing. You pay for each session as you fly it, so there is no loan against a certificate you have not earned yet.

How do I pay for training if I can’t pay for it all at once?

Nobody pays for it all at once. Training is billed session by session, so the cost arrives at the pace you fly — one three-hour block at a time, in the months that suit your budget.

What happens if I have to stop training for a few months?

Nothing is forfeited, because nothing was prepaid. You stop, and you start again when you can — the only cost of a long break is the flying it takes to get current again.

Is it cheaper to fly more often or less often?

More often, by a wide margin. Long gaps mean re-flying material you had already learned, and that repeat time is the single largest avoidable cost in flight training.
