Our story
Core Aviator Training was built as the opposite of the big-school pipeline: one instructor, one student, one airplane, at Page Field in Fort Myers.
Most flight schools run like queues — rotating instructors, shared aircraft schedules, students learning to pass a test instead of learning to fly. CORE was founded to do the opposite: genuinely private instruction where you keep the same CFI from your discovery flight to your checkride.
That shows up in how lessons run. Every session is a three-hour block: a real pre-flight brief, your time in the air over the Southwest Florida coast, and a post-flight debrief that sets up the next lesson. Nothing is rushed and nothing is recycled.
The standard is simple — train real pilots. It is why students switch to us from other schools, and why the Cherokee is kept immaculate.

Page Field (KFMY) is towered and professionally run. You learn real radio work and airspace discipline from your very first hour, instead of bolting it on later.

The low-wing advantage is real training value: the wing dips out of your sightline in the turn, the wide gear stance is stable in crosswinds, and fuel checks are a direct visual inspection — no ladder required.
